Fly Elise-ng announces new product: Immersive Warp SDK

Immersive Warp C/C++ SDK allows 3rd party software vendors (ISV) to integrate Fly Elise-ng auto-calibration results into their own DirectX9/DirectX10/DirectX11 or OpenGL based image generation packages, graphics engines or graphics frameworks.

Integration is simple and based on a minimal set of C/C++ lines of code ( calls to the SDK) in the original application source code. With this SDK, the third-party applications can directly read the edge-blending calibration results and apply them directly to a multi-projection display system.

Exported calibration files (.procalib files) contain all information needed for successful integration:

– Geometrical Correction: For mapping the images on a irregular projection screens.
– Soft-Edge Blending: Blending maps to produce seamless images on overlapped projectors.
– View Information: View-ports and Frustums information for 100% correct perspective projection.

Additionally, the SDK provides features for optimal zero-delay warping and edge-blending processing:

– Back Buffer -> Back Buffer: The content of the Back Buffer is post processed and put back into back buffer for presenting.
– Render buffer -> Back buffer: The content of a Render Buffer(Texture) is post processed and put back into back buffer for presenting.
– Back Buffer -> Render Buffer: The content of a Back Buffer is post processed and put into Render Buffer (Texture) for further processing.
– Render buffer -> Render buffer: The content of a Render Buffer(Texture) is post processed and put back into Render Buffer (Texture) for further processing.
